Fintech start-up europeone has been selected to pitch at Europe’s leading tech festival, The Next Web (TNW) conference in Amsterdam.
europeone offers an app-based bank account that works across countries and currencies.
It is targeted at the 30 million-plus Europeans who live and work abroad in Europe. There are a further 70 million Europeans who require cross-border banking services. Both of these groups are poorly served by regular banks today.
The Berlin-based start-up was selected, from hundreds of applicants, to participate in semi-finals of the TNW pitch competition by a jury of local mentors and industry experts.
Each start-up selected will take the stage to deliver their pitch for one minute on Thursday, May 18. The jury will then decide who will proceed to the final round on Friday, May 19.
“We are delighted to be selected to pitch at TNW and are looking forward to sharing how europeone is building a borderless bank for mobile Europeans,” said CEO Philipp Buschmann.
“This is a fabulous opportunity to tell our story, sell our product, and meet and learn from some of the best professionals in the industry.”
TNW Conference is a technology festival that brings together start-ups, tech executives and top-tier investors for two days of business and knowledge sharing. It has grown to become one of Europe’s leading tech events, attracting 15,000 attendees each day and 3,500 companies from across the globe.
TNW is taking place at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam on May 18 and 19. For more information on the conference, visit https://thenextweb.com/conference
